  • 4 sheets of unflavored gelatin

With these amounts you will get between three and four oreo mousse, depending on the size of the individual containers you use. If you do not have gelatin sheets, you can replace it with two tablespoons of powdered gelatin. We advise you to reserve the cream to mount in the refrigerator before using it to prepare this recipe.

The first thing we are going to do is pour the milk in a saucepan and heat it over low heat, it should not boil. While hot, moisturize the gelatin sheets. To do this, introduce cold water into a glass or any other container, add a foil and let it soak for 5 minutes. After time, you will see that it is inflated and has softened, add it to the milk and stir it to dissolve. Do the same with the other three.

When you have dissolved the gelatin sheets in the milk, remove it from the heat and let it warm. While it cools, crush the oreo cookies, with the cream and everything. You can do it manually with a mortar or spray them with a kitchen robot or mixer. When you have them, reserve them for later.

To continue with the oreo mousse recipe, it's time to monar the cream. To do this, you can use electric rods or mixer. When the cream has begun to mount but is not yet ready, it incorporates the sugar little by little and still beating. Then, if the milk it is already warm, also add it to the cream carefully and, of course, while still beating. If you don't want the result to be a very sweet dessert, you can reduce the amount of sugar.

It is advisable that the milk is not hot at the time of mixing with the cream to prevent the latter from becoming liquid. You will know that the cream is completely assembled when picking up the rods or blender forms peaks, and when the container is rotated it does not fall. Once ready, enter the crushed cookies and mix them with the help of a spatula or spoon making gentle enveloping movements.
